Let me just say, I was so amused by this today.
The fact that the Pisay community has been tweeting for over 2 hours trying to trend this is amazing. AAAAND, a day after everyone else. #ohyess #hipster
Everyone’s been tweeting about the things that make Pisay awesome, and, of course, there had to be jokes like “Why aren’t you guys studying? =)) #itsmorefuninPISAY”
Near the beginning, it was just a bunch of jokes and witty statements about the things that made Pisay as awesome as it is. But, at it’s apex, it’s a drive from everyone to get it trending. Even when we reply to one another, you absolutely HAVE to add #itsmorefuninPISAY. And, sometimes, even those sort of unrelated to Pisay have that hashtag at the end.
Of course, I couldn’t help but find it a bit annoying that other people from Pisay tweet about their old schools. I mean, sure, go ahead, but can’t you guys help, just for now?
I guess it’s a pride thing, if we trend. And, since we’ve all silently agreed to do this, we WILL give a LOT of our efforts into it.
And it makes me happy. That all of us will try THAT much to work towards it. No, it’s not just about twitter or trending or hashtags. It’s about the fact that we’re all trying our very hardest. The fact that we’re all united towards one goal, no matter how different we are from each other.
But, it’s in that diversity that you find the uniting factor.
And, I guess that’s one of the reasons why #itsmorefuninPISAY.
